Well, we've made it. Leeds Irish Health and Homes has been providing it's services to our community for 25 years this year. Starting out as an ambition of a group of concerned individuals in 1992 we were constituted as an Industrial & Provident Society in January 1996, receiving nine months pilot funding from Leeds City Council to employ Ant Hanlon as Project Development Manager from June 1996.
We are now a proud and valued member of the voluntary and community sector in Leeds with a staff team of 16 people, 56 active volunteers, a wide range of services and activities aimed at improving our community's health and well-being and a string of accreditations and awards to our name.
We enjoy fabulous feedback from our community and funders alike which we never take for granted, always aiming to better our previous results.
To mark the occasion we put together this little video to tell our story. We hope you enjoy it................
