The group meet every Wednesday from 6-7pm at Room 2, Swarthmore 2-7 Woodhouse Square, Leeds LS3 1AD. All are welcome to join this friendly, small self taught group and they are happy to have people sit in for free for this term before deciding if they continue and pay a small contribution towards the costs of the room.
Organiser Brigid commented “People want to learn Irish for so many reasons, it could be their parents or relatives spoke Irish or a they were taught at school and would like a refresher”. Or some people wish to access this rich literary and cultural heritage and embrace the challenge of learning one of the oldest European languages. Whatever the reason this small friendly group welcome all to to meet new people and learn.
