Boots, hats, gingham, dancing, laughter..Oh & our very own Dolly & John Wayne!

With a queue forming of nearly 120 people we quickly pulled up our cowboy boots and donned our ten-gallon hats and welcomed friends new and old for a rooting-tooting-yee-haw of a time!

Our record breaking best ever Country & Irish Tea Dance took place Wednesday afternoon at Immaculate Heart Hall and boy what an afternoon it was with music, line-dancing, John Wayne and even our very own Leeds Irish Dolly Parton!

A befitting final performance not to be missed from our very own Cara Connector Sara, who handed over the ‘reigns’ to launch our new Cara 2 service to Clare, Elise & Siobhan and she’s tough boots to follow with her Dolly Parton routine which you can see here

As if that wasn’t enough we even featured on TV!  Our friends at Leeds TV kindly attended the event and showcased what we do in a heart-warming report which you can view Leeds TV here.

Care, Culture, Community – it’s what we do (oh and we also have a lot of fun!).
